HOOKAH BOWL ADAPTED FOR USE WITH PREPACKAGED TOBACCO CAPSULES

A hookah bowl is provided that is structured to support a prepackaged tobacco capsule (100). The hookah bowl comprises an open upper end (11 ), a hollow central portion (21 ), and a narrow lower end (31). The upper end (11 ) comprises a rounded bowl structure having sidewalls (16) extending outward from the central portion (21 ), an upper rim (12), and an inner bulge region (13) extending inward from the rim (12). The central portion (21 ) comprises an open channel that is devoid of filter screens, extending between the rounded bowl structure to the lower end for communicating air and smoke from a capsule (100) supported within the bowl structure. The inner bulge (13) of the bowl structure is adapted to establish a tight seal around a prepackaged tobacco capsule (100) when the capsule is positioned in the open upper end (11 ), while the inner ledge (14) may further comprise a plurality of depressions (15) therealong that facilitate expansion of a capsule body being smoked.
