The present invention provides a copolymer for producing a membrane of a fuel cell, a producing method thereof, and a fuel cell, wherein the copolymer for producing a membrane of a fuel cell comprises a hydrophobic portion represented by chemical formula 1, and a hydrophilic portion represented by chemical formula 2. In the chemical formulae 1 and 2, Q_1 and Q_2 independently represent a single bond and -CH_2- or -C(R_1)(R_2)-, x and y independently represent an integer greater than or equal to 1, R_1 and R_2 and independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and M_1 represents a monovalent cation.
