<p>The invention relates to a feeder apparatus (7) for feeding material to be crushed or ground to a roller crusher (6) having two generally parallel rolls (8) 5 arranged to rotate in opposite directions, towards each other, and separated by a gap. The feeder apparatus (7) comprises a main feeder (9) for feeding a first portion of said material to the gap of the roller crusher (6). The feeder apparatus (7) is characterised in that said feeder apparatus (7) further comprises an auxiliary feeder (10) for feeding a second portion of said material to the roller crusher (6). The 0 auxiliary feeder (10) is arranged to feed said second portion of material to at least one of the rolls (8) at a speed which is adjustable in relation to a surface speed of said at least one roll (8).
