<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly prevent output control of a vehicle from being performed without being expected by a driver. <P>SOLUTION: An output control device of the vehicle includes an engine output reducing means 4 for reducing engine output when an accelerator operation and a brake operation are simultaneously performed. The output control device also includes an accelerator detection means 1, a brake detection means 2, a braking state determination means 5 for determining the presence or absence of a state in which the vehicle can be rapidly braked, and a standby-time setting means 6 for setting operation standby time until the engine output is reduced by operating the engine output reducing means 4, from the time point of the detection of the simultaneous performance of the accelerator operation and the brake operation, depending on the result of determination made by the braking state determination means 5. When the braking state determination means 5 determines the absence of the state in which the vehicle can be rapidly braked, the operation standby time is set shorter than when the braking state determination means determines the presence of the state in which the vehicle can be rapidly braked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
