The present invention relates to a segment for continuous casting having a surface defect prevention and roll gap adjustment function capable of preventing the generation of cracks on an edge part of a strip and the distortion of the strip as the edge part of the strip is in contact with rolls to be overcooled by adjusting the contact area between the strip and the rolls. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the segment for continuous casting having a surface defect prevention and roll gap adjustment function comprises: an upper frame and a lower frame vertically separated from each other to enter a strip; and a plurality of upper guide rolls and lower guide rolls installed in the upper frame and the lower frame and separated to face each other such that the strip introduced into the separated space can be reduced. The upper guide rolls and the lower guide rolls are divided into a middle part and side parts formed in both ends. The middle part has a constant diameter and the side parts have a diameter gradually reduced toward the outer end.
