<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is capable of attaching and detaching of a developer storage container in which a container body is rotated for supplying developer, and capable of opening and closing of a developer discharge port in conjunction with a developer supply operation, and that prevents the occurrence of leakage of developer during the attaching and detaching of the developer storage container, and provide a removable developer storage container mounted on the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When a coupling 33 is rotated in a normal direction, a container body 55 and a cap 56a start to rotate in a normal direction around a rotation shaft 61, and however, a shutter 58 connected with a torque limiter 65 does not rotate with the container body 55 and the cap 56a and maintains a stationary state. When the container body 55 and the cap 56a rotate approximately 90 degrees, a toner discharge port 57 of the cap 56a and an opening 58a of the shutter 58 overlap with each other to release the toner discharge port 57.</p> |
