<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillator capable of miniaturization with good characteristics, and a manufacturing method of the crystal oscillator. <P>SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator 1 accommodates in a vessel 3 a crystal vibrating piece 2, which includes a convex-processed salient 20 of a substantially circular-shape in a plan view on one principal plane and excitation electrodes 22, 24 on front and rear principal planes 200, 210, and by bonding a lid 8 to the vessel 3, airtightly seals the excitation electrodes 22, 24. Four leg portions 21 integrally molded with the crystal vibration piece 2 are formed annularly in a manner to protrude from the other principal plane 210, and the leg portions 21 are bonded to the vessel 3 as support members. Among side planes constituting the leg portions 21, each outer edge side plane 21a is formed with an arc substantially concentric with the salient 20 in a plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
