<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having a core-shell structure achieving both of fixability and heat resistance and having excellent uniformity of charging and environmental stability. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for dry electrostatic charge image development contains a binder resin, a coloring material and a release agent, and the toner is a dry toner having a core-shell structure having protrusions on the surface. The core essentially comprises a polyester resin, while the shell comprises a vinyl resin obtained by polymerization of at least a styrene monomer and a vinyl polymerizable monomer including both of an ester bond and an aryl group expressed by general formula (1).
