The general-purpose test stand for determination of mechanical parameters, response and damage of advanced composite materials at high deformation rates according to the present invention comprises a fixture platen (1), wherein a web (4) is attached thereto. The web is provided with a suspension (3) with a striker (2) for loading the samples (20) in horizontal plane. The web (4) is further provided all over its height with a system of a ready holes (11) complemented by stiffeners (12) enabling a free change of the striker (2) impact height and/or the dimension of the sample (20).
