The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling a freezer-cooler system in a refrigerated truck. According to the present invention, a timer receives a temperature checking signal to check whether a freezer temperature of a freight compartment is higher than a cooler setting temperature set in a temperature setting unit from a temperature checking unit, and counts initial operation time of an electromagnetic valve set therein to output a time counting notification signal notifying that the initial operation time of the electromagnetic valve is being counted while counting the initial operation time of the electromagnetic valve to a signal output unit. While the time counting notification signal is being inputted, the signal output unit outputs a control signal to a freezer electromagnetic valve and a cooler electromagnetic valve to simultaneously open the freezer electromagnetic valve and the cooler electromagnetic valve during an initial opening time period. According to the present invention, if a freezer and a cooler are operated together using a single compressor in a refrigerated truck, a corresponding operational situation can be reflected to set a freezer and a cooler activation frequency to properly maintain freezer and cooler performance. |
