<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover an electric power used for driving an actuator and reuse the recovered electric power as effective power with a configuration in which an actuator driving voltage waveform is hardly affected. <P>SOLUTION: In a discharge energy recovery apparatus for recovering a discharge energy discharged when a piezoelectric element is driven, the apparatus includes a driving voltage generating section for generating the voltage to drive the piezoelectric element, a discharge voltage monitoring section for monitoring the voltage discharged from the piezoelectric element when the piezoelectric element is driven by the driving voltage generating section, first and second charge accumulating circuit elements for accumulating a charge corresponding to the voltage monitored by the voltage monitoring section, a first applying voltage controlling section for applying the voltage to the first charge accumulating circuit element until the charge reaches up to the first accumulable charge corresponding to an electric capacitance of the first charge accumulating circuit element, and the second applying voltage controlling section for applying the voltage to the second charge accumulating circuit element having a different electric capacitance until the charge reaches up to the second charge when the charge accumulated in the first charge accumulating circuit element reaches the first charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
