<p>The invention relates to a method for preventing floods, wherein a system consisting of pipes (2, 3, 4), pumps (6), and retention systems (7, 8, 9) is installed in order to optimize the water balance of outfalls (1), such as creeks, rivers, and streams. The system extends over any length of the body of water (1) to be regulated. Preferably, a use of the energy of the water flowing downhill is additionally achieved, and a system for cleaning polluted water out of the retention systems is also provided.</p> |
