<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for monitoring message transmission and reception. The present invention is provided to monitor whether a message is being normally transmitted to a client terminal so as to quickly cope with problems due to a message transmission failure. A monitoring device monitors whether a monitoring message is periodically received, wherein the monitoring message is for checking whether a notification message supplied from a supplier of goods or services is normally received to the client terminal. If it is monitored that the monitoring message is not received, the monitoring device notifies a manager device of information indicating that the monitoring message is not received. The manager device receives the information and informs a manager of the received information such that the manager quickly copes with a failure or error in message transmission and reception.</p> |
