<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color moving image structure conversion method and a color moving image structure conversion apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The color moving image structure conversion apparatus includes: motion estimation means (7, 12) for performing motion estimations between an interpolated frame and frames preceding and succeeding in frame order to compute motion vectors preceding and succeeding the interpolated frame; motion compensation means (10, 11) for scaling the preceding motion vector according to frame intervals to produce a first motion-compensated interpolated color plane from an existing color plane of an adjacent frame preceding the interpolated frame; motion compensation means (8, 9) for scaling the succeeding motion vector according to frame intervals to produce a second interpolated color plane from an existing color plane of an adjacent frame succeeding the interpolated frame; and image multiplexing means (13) for rearranging the first interpolated color plane and the second interpolated color plane of the interpolated frame and the existing color planes to produce second color moving images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
