摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that can suppress an energy loss that is caused in the transition from a reheating operation using a heat pump to a hot water storage operation. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes: a flow path switching means 7 for switching between a hot water storage circuit 201 and a heat pump-using reheating circuit 202; a heat pump control means for raising a heat pump supply hot water temperature during reheating operation using the heat pump relative to a heat pump supply hot water temperature during hot water storage operation; and an operation mode transition means that switches the flow path switching means 7 to the hot water storage circuit 201 from the heat pump-using reheating circuit 202 without stopping the operation of a compressor 1, in a transition mode of making a transition of an operation mode from the reheating operation using the heat pump to the hot water storage operation, and then controls the heat pump unit 100 so that a heat pump supply hot water temperature is lowered to a heat pump supply hot water temperature during hot water storage operation from a heat pump supply hot water temperature during reheating operation using the heat pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
