<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder that prevents rollers from being driven while a belt connecting the rollers is slack. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder comprises: a tray guide 72 that changes its posture between a first position that supports a media tray 71 where a recorded medium can be placed, so as to enter a conveyance path 65 and a second position retracted from the first position; a coil spring 82 configured to press the tray guide 72 to the first position; rollers 60, 62, and 45 to convey the media tray 71 along the conveyance path 65; belts 123 and 125 connecting the rollers 60, 62, and 45; and a movable member 130 movable forward and backward directions. The rollers 62 and 45 are guided downward by the forward movement of the movable member 130. The movable member 130 is connected to the tray guide 72 and moves forward along with the posture change of the tray guide 72 from the second position to the first position.
