The present invention relates to a genetic marker, kit, microarray which predict the carcass weight of Korean native cattle, and to a method for predicting the carcass weight of Korean native cattle using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for predicting the carcass weight of Korean native cattle by measuring expression amounts of matrix metallopeptidase 2 (MMP2), matrix metallopeptidase 3 (MMP3), collagen, type I, alpha 1 (COL1A1), laminin, beta 3 (LAMB3), integrin, alpha 7 (ITGA7), and integrin, alpha 5 (ITGA5) genes which are intramuscular fat-specific and has a correlation with the carcass weight of Korean native cattle. According to the present invention, the carcass weight of Korean native cattle can be predicted and determined at an early stage by using the genetic marker, kit, microarray for predicting the carcass weight of Korean native cattle, and the method for predicting the carcass weight of Korean native cattle using the same. In addition, it is possible to control fat content of an entity of Korean native cattle which is generated through use of the genetic marker for detecting expression amounts of genes which are specific to intramuscular fat of Korean native cattle. |
