The present invention relates to a method for reducing hexavalent chromium contained in exhaust gas by using steelmaking slag, more specifically, which comprises steps of: forming steelmaking slag fine powder by grinding steelmaking slag; and injecting the steelmaking slag fine powder to exhaust gas. According to the present invention, harmful hexavalent chromium of dust contained in exhaust gas can be reduced to non-toxic trivalent chromium, thereby helping discharge reduction of a toxic material and realizing a high value product through recycling of steelmaking slag. |
