<p>The present invention provides a speed reducer for use in a ship and a speed reducer with a motor. When the speed reducer for use in the ship restrains the weight to a smallest limit, the speed reducer has enough strength for stronger wave impact load. According to the speed reducer (G1) equipped on a deck (10) of the ship according to the invention, when the speed reducer (G1) is equipped on the deck (10), at least an upper surface (50) of the speed reducer (G1) is provided with an inclined surface (50A) and an inclined surface (50B) which downwards incline to the outside (end side) when inner side (central side) of the upper surface (50) is overlooked.</p> |
