<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an external operation handle for a switch which has no risk of penetration of water into the inside of a panel. <P>SOLUTION: An external operation handle device for switch includes a handle reception part 4 engaged with an inclinable handle of a switch built in a control panel, a rotatable handle part 1 protruding from the control panel, a frame 2 for supporting the rotatable handle part 1 pivotally and rotatably, and a cam 3 interlocking with the rotation of the rotatable handle part 1. The rotatable handle part 1 has an operation handle 11 connected to the cam 3 to be rotated in association with the handle reception part 4, a lock plate 13 that moves in a through groove 11b provided in the operation handle 11 to open/close a lock hole of the operation handle 11, and a cylinder 15 provided with a bearing 15a and a rotational groove 15f into which the operation handle 11 is loosely fitted to be pivotally attached to the frame 2.
