<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra fine fiber that is extremely thin in nano order and has noncircularity and a homogeneous cross-sectional shape. <P>SOLUTION: An ultra fine fiber is a multifilament composed of monofilaments having a fiber diameter of 10-1000 nm, in which fiber diameter variation is 1-20%, noncircularity is 1.2-5.0, and noncircularity variation is 1-10%.
