Feed pump dry run detection

摘要

The method involves using speed detection sensor for monitoring unlubricated operation of feed pump. An electric drive motor is allowed to run out to defined end state starting from known initial state. The number of revolutions of motor rotor is detected and compared with predefined threshold value, while the speed detection sensor is configured to detect leakage defined final state in the electric drive motor. The unlubricated operation of feed pump is closed, while the predefined threshold value is exceeded.
