<p>The device has a display unit (110) arranged within a driver's cab of a commercial vehicle, where the display displays two fields of view in real time. The fields of view are legally-prescribed to be permanently displayed on the display unit in a common image during operation of the vehicle. The fields of view contain a field of view corresponding to a primary mirror and a field of view corresponding to a wide-angle mirror. The display unit has a power supply device that is independent of an on-board power supply of the vehicle.</p> |
