The method involves providing an anchor system with left expansion anchors anchored in anchorage base (27), and right expansion anchor fastened to the facing layer (26). An expansion element is provided with spreading section and intake section for spreading expansion area (20) of the expansion anchors. A borehole (29) is drilled on the anchorage base through the facing layer. A gage (21) is introduced with respect to an expansion dowel (19). A test load (P) is applied on the gage for checking the holding force of the expansion dowel in the facing layer.
