摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface inspection device of a rolling bearing, capable of simply and automatically determining the quality of the finish of a bearing ring surface, lowering a manufacturing cost, simplifying inspection processing, and performing highly accurate inspections. <P>SOLUTION: The surface inspection device of a rolling bearing includes: laser beam transmission/reception means for irradiating an inspection surface with a laser beam and receiving the laser beam reflected on the surface; photoelectric conversion means for outputting electric signals corresponding to received light intensity; circumferential direction scanning means for rotating a laser beam irradiation part coaxially with the axis of a bearing ring; axial direction scanning means for moving the laser beam transmission/reception means along the axis of the bearing ring; maximum value acquisition means for acquiring the maximum value in the axial direction of electric signal output outputted from the photoelectric conversion means; halation number counting means for counting the number of the maximum values corresponding to a halation state among the acquired maximum values; and determination means for determining the quality of the bearing ring corresponding to the number of pieces of halation counted by the halation number counting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
