<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control apparatus that can prevent an additive from being subjected to a high temperature even when the additive leaks from a connection part of a supply pipe to an adding valve. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control apparatus includes: the adding valve 30 mounted to an exhaust manifold 20 that is positioned exhaust-upstream of a catalytic converter 13 for purifying exhaust emissions from an internal combustion engine 10; and the supply pipe 50 connected to the adding valve 30 and supplying the adding valve 30 with the additive A for recovering the exhaust emission purifying ability of the catalytic converter 13. The exhaust emission control apparatus injects the additive A supplied through the supply pipe 50 into the exhaust manifold 20 from the adding valve 30. In the exhaust emission control apparatus, a shielding wall 70 is provided at least below the connection part B of the supply pipe 50 to the adding valve 30 and above the exhaust manifold 20 to receive the additive A when the additive A leaks from the connection part B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
