<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank structure capable of detecting fuel shortage beforehand by more accurately detecting a fuel amount even when fuel inside a fuel tank is unevenly distributed in a small amount state. <P>SOLUTION: Inside a fuel tank 14, a fuel amount detection sensor 48 is disposed so as to detect the fuel amount in a range surrounding a fuel suction port 42.
