<p>An electrophoretic device includes in an insulating liquid (1), an electrophoretic particle (1 0) and a porous layer (20). The porous layer (20) includes a fibrous structure (21) that includes a non-electrophoretic particle (22) having an optical reflection different from that of the electrophoretic particle (10) to improve contrast. The fibrous structures (21) may contain nanofibers formed by electrospinning which facilitate the migration of the electrophoretic particles (10) through the pores (23) to achieve rapid response and low power consumption.</p> |
