The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling rinsing of a washing machine, and more specifically, to an apparatus and method which are capable of minimizing detergent residues remaining in clothes or a washing tub. To this end, the apparatus for controlling rinsing of a washing machine according to the present invention comprises: a motor providing a rotational force; a motor driving unit for driving the motor; and a control unit for outputting a motor driving signal to the motor driving unit such that the motor is periodically driven for one hour after a washing process is finished. |
