The present invention relates to a composition for treatment and prevention of erectile dysfunction and arteriosclerosis, which contains a Bombus terrestris larva-derived polypeptide as an active ingredient and includes one peptide selected from the group consisting of peptides represented by SEQ ID NOs.: 1 to 14 as an active part, and a health food for ameliorating vascular diseases. A protein having an N-terminal peptide of the Bombus terrestris larva-derived protein as an active part according to the present invention has an ability to regulate nitric oxide production in vascular endothelial cells and spleen cells, thereby predicting a vasodilation effect, and therefore, the present invention is useful in the amelioration, treatment, and prevention of vascular diseases, such as erectile dysfunction and arteriosclerosis which require the vasodilation effect for therapeutic efficacy.
