<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress misalignment of a transfer position caused when an image held by an image holding body is transferred to a sheet held by a transfer member. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 of the present invention includes: a photoreceptor drum 11 which has a first diameter, is disposed as rotatable, and holds an image on an outer circumference face thereof; a transfer drum 21 which has a second diameter larger than the first diameter, is disposed as rotatable in the same direction as the photoreceptor drum 11 in a region opposing to the photoreceptor drum 11, and transfers an image held by the photoreceptor drum 11 onto a sheet S nipped between itself and the photoreceptor drum 11; a top gripper 23 fixed to the transfer drum 21 and holding a top end in a conveying direction of the sheet S supplied to the transfer drum 21 on the outer circumference face of the transfer drum 21; and a control unit 100 controlling the circumferential speed of the photoreceptor drum 11 to be faster than the circumferential speed of the transfer drum 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
