<p>A leak testing system for blow moulded container 20 comprises a shaft 13 and a seal 2 for forming a seal with an opening in a blow moulded container 20, the shaft 13 being movable into the container 20 through the seal 15. The system also comprises a detector 10 carried by the shaft 13 for mechanically detecting excess material within the blow moulded container and a spigot 12 carried by the shaft 10 which is engagable with the bore of the neck 21 of the blow moulded container 20 on completion of testing for transporting the container 20 to another station. A sensor 17 is activated by a a connector 16 depending on the location of the excess material detector within the blow moulded container 20, excess material within the container 20 inhibiting movement of the detector and triggering of the sensor 17.</p> |
