PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrode active material capable of improving charge/discharge capacity and containing elements of Li, Fe and S; a method for manufacturing the electrode active material; and a secondary battery including an electrode containing the electrode active material.SOLUTION: The electrode active material is an electrode active material containing elements of Li, Fe and S, and the content ratio of each of the elements in a molar ratio satisfies 3≤Li/Fe≤4 and 1≤Li/S≤1.2. The secondary battery includes an electrode containing the electrode active material. The electrode active material is produced by mixing lithium sulfide and iron sulfide and then firing the mixture. |
