<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress endurance deterioration of the operation of a money processor mounted on a vending machine. <P>SOLUTION: A vending machine comprises a sleep mode execution control part that controls execution of a sleep mode and recovery from the sleep mode, and controls the sleep mode to be executed after transmitting a notification signal notifying of a start of the sleep mode to the money processor. The money processor comprises a storage part that stores the notification signal or reception of the notification signal, and a sleep mode determination part that determines presence/absence of the memory stored in the storage part.
