<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protective structure capable of improving the occupant protection performance at the time of rollover of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The occupant protective structure 10 includes: a main chamber 36, in a curtain airbag 12, that is supplied with gas and expanded above a belt line BL at the time of side collision of a vehicle and at the time of rollover of a vehicle; a front sub-chamber 40 that is supplied with gas and thereby expanded so that a lower end thereof extends to below the belt line BL in a position not overlapping the main chamber 36 in a side view, at least at the time of rollover of a vehicle; and a projection 74 that is formed, along the belt line BL, at least in a portion of a door trim 72 overlapped by the expanded front sub-chamber 40 in a side view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
