The sound absorber comprises an inlet section (1), an outlet section and a connection section (3), where the sound waves on the path of the inlet section to the outlet section pass through the connection section. The connection section is formed, such that the sound or liquid is partially guided around a longitudinal axis (L) of the sound absorber. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement, which comprises a fluid line with a sound absorber arranged between a reservoir and a pump.
