<p>A package comprising; a product receiving portion 12, with a retention element (48, figure 2). The product may be socks 16. The packaging may comprise a hanging element 14, and the product receiving portion may be a sleeve which holds the socks on the hanging element. The product receiving portion may be formed from folding a blank (see figure 2). The blank may comprise; a first section (38) on which the hanging element and then the product are placed and which has a slot (46), a first side portion (40) folded along fold lines (26, 28), a second section (42) which folds over the product and has the retention element which is folded to engage with the product, a second side portion (36) folded along fold lines (22, 24), a third section (34) which folds over the second section, a third side portion (20) which folds over the second side portion, and a fourth section (30) which comprises a tab (44) which engages with the first section slot (46) to secure the product.</p> |
