<p>Leakage of a reducing agent is detected in a more accurate manner. In an exhaust gas purification apparatus for an internal combustion engine in which a gaseous reducing agent is supplied to an exhaust passage from a reducing agent passage, provision is made for a pressure detection device to detect a pressure of the reducing agent, a temperature detection device to detect a temperature of the reducing agent, and a determination device to determine whether the reducing agent leaks, according to a difference between a saturated vapor pressure corresponding to the temperature of the reducing agent detected by the temperature detection device, and the pressure of the reducing agent detected by the pressure detection device.</p> |
