Provided is a long term evolution (LTE) frame synchronization detecting device comprising: a CP correlator for calculating a correlation of a cyclic prefix (CP) included in each orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a digital conversion-treated LTE signal; a frequency offset compensating unit for compensating a frequency off set related to a synchronization signal in the LTE signal by using a symbol frequency offset calculated based on the CP correlation; a synchronization signal correlation calculating unit for performing correlation calculation in a time region related to the synchronization signal with the compensated frequency offset by considering symbol starting timing obtained based on the CP correlation; and a frame synchronization detecting unit for detecting frame synchronization of the LTE signal based on a correlation calculation result related to the correlation signal.
