The present invention relates to a device for measuring the horizontality of a wall mounted drum type washing machine, wherein first and second horizontality measurement units measure the level of washing water of the left and right sides in a tub of a wall mounted drum type washing machine, a control part determines the horizontality of the wall mounted drum type washing machine with the measured water levels, and a display part displays the determination result and a method for the same. Therefore, the device for measuring the horizontality of a wall mounted drum type washing machine and the method for the same reduce time for the accurate horizontal installation of the wall mounted drum type washing machine in the initial installation of the washing machine and enable users to check and maintain the exact horizontality of the wall mounted drum type washing machine, thereby reducing vibration and noise during the operation of the wall mounted drum type washing machine. |
