COMMUNICATION METHOD OF HUB AND SENSOR NODES FOR SUPPORTING BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY IN PROTOCOL RECONFIGURABLE SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a communication method for hubs and sensor nodes used to support the backward compatibility in a protocol reconfiguration system. More specifically, the communication method is used in a first hub which supporting the backward compatibility in a network. The network includes: a first sensor node including a protocol reconfiguration function; a second sensor node which does not include the protocol reconfiguration function; a first hub including the protocol reconfiguration function; and a second hub not including the protocol reconfiguration function. The communication method for the first hub includes the steps of: inserting the protocol information for the first sensor node for the broadcast frame of a format provided by the second hub for the second sensor node; and transmitting the broadcast frame inserted with the protocol information for the first sensor node to the first and second sensor nodes.
