The invention relates to a herbicidal composition, which is highly safe to useful crops and can exert a controlling effect on various weeds causing troubles for instance in paddy fields, upland fields or non-crop land over a wide range from pre-budding stage to the growing stage. The herbicidal composition, comprising the following component A, which represents, at least, one compound selected from the group consisting of isoxazoline derivatives represented by the formula [I] and salts thereof and the following component B as active ingredients. Component A:wherein each of Rand Rwhich are independent of each other, is a hydrogen atom, a C-Calkyl group, a C-Ccycloalkyl group or a C-Ccycloalkyl C-Calkyl group, or each of Rand Rwhich are independent of each other, is a hydrogen atom, a C-Calkyl group, a C-Ccycloalkyl group, or R, R, Rand Rmay form a 5- to 8-membered ring together with the carbon atoms to which they are bonded, each of Rand Rwhich are independent of each other, is a hydrogen atom or a C-Calkyl group, Y is a 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocyclic or aromatic condensed heterocyclic group having an optional heteroatom selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom. Component B-6: 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase inhibitors, carotinoid synthesis inhibitors selected from: (a) pyridazinone derivative: norflurazon; (b) triketone derivative: sulcotrione; (c) Iisoxazole derivative: isoxachlortole; (d) pyrazole derivatives: benzofenap, pyrazolynate, pyrazoxyfen; (e) triazole derivative: amitrole; (f) isoxazolidinone derivative: clomazone; (g) pyridine carboxamide derivative: picolinafen; (h) diphenyl ether derivative: aclonifen; (i) urea derivative: fluometuron; (j) other compounds: beflubutamid, fluridone, fluorochloridone, flurtamone, benzobicyclon. |
