The invention relates to a method and an installation for warning and for starting a high-capacity conveyor within a brown coal conveying line of mine works. According to the invention, the method consists in closing certain contacts, which leads to the supply of a contactor that sends an electric signal for initiating the acoustic warning in an upstream conveyor when a rotation speed of 20% of the nominal rotation speed is reached by a downstream conveyor, the actual start of the upstream conveyor taking place after a time interval which can be adjusted to 2 s after the downstream terminal reaching the nominal speed or even to the very moment of reaching the nominal speed, where the time interval elapsed from the moment of reaching the 20% speed up to reaching the nominal speed in a downstream conveyor belt is equal to the warning time of an upstream conveyor belt, this control and delay mode being used in centralized starting and correlated with the equipments whose starting time is longer than the 20 s warning time. The claimed installation used for carrying out the method comprises a contactor () fitting out each conveyor supplied from the downstream belt, representing the centralization for the acoustic warning, a contactor () for centralized starting being supplied through its contacts, while conditioning the supply of other contactors () for a time relay () through the contact of which another contactor () is supplied, this one representing the starting centralization for each conveyor, a time relay () which achieves the delay of release of the contactor () for the supply of the alarm horns, a normally open contact () of the serially connected contactor () with a normally closed contact () of the contactor (), components that permit the supply of the contactor () for acoustic warning. |
