A fire damper comprising a body (4) consisting of a steel frame and at least two pivotally mounted blades (1) made of a fire protection material, the blades (1) and optionally the body (4) being provided with sealings (10) comprising seals, characterized in that each of the blades (1) is provided with two rotary axles (14) located in two respective bearings (5) placed on the opposite vertical sides of the body (4) of the damper, the blades (1) being connected to each other via angle bars (18) and by a link (6) enabling drive transmission between the successive blades (1), and in that at least one spring (3) is attached by its one end to the body (4) of the damper, the other end of the spring (3) being connected with one blade (1).
