The present invention relates to a method to build a drillship on a dock whereby it is possible to perform a large scale pre-erection (PE) work on ship′s stern machinery equipment area using a 3-batch manner during building the drillship on a dock. A method to build a drillship to assemble a ship divided into a plurality of unit blocks on a dock by mounting the unit blocks on the corresponding block areas respectively, wherein the unit blocks are assembled by being mounted by a crane in correspondence to a lifting load capacity of each of the unit block, and the unit blocks are mounted in order of identification numbers of the unit blocks on a large scale PE work by applying a 3-batch manner on a ship′s stern machinery equipment area on the dock. |
