The present invention relates to a protective film and a polarizing plate including the same. The protective film comprises: a transparent film; a coating layer formed on one surface of the transparent film; and a primary layer formed on another surface of the transparent film. The coating layer is formed by using a coating compound including a first high-polymer resin, a first cross-linking agent, and a first acid water particle. The primary layer includes a second high-polymer resin and a second acid water particle and is formed by using a primary compound including a second cross-linking agent of which weight (including 0 wt%) is lower than or equal to that of the first cross-linking agent.
