<p>The invention relates to a center grinder to be used for finishing the shafts of washing machines. According to the invention, the machine comprises an operating station () having two opposite spindles () supporting two semi-finished shafts () to be grinded, a driving assembly () consisting of two grippers () adapted to position the semi-finished shafts () in the operating station () and to take over the finished shafts () from the operating station (), and some driving means () adapted to move the two grippers () along two orthogonal axes, a rail () and a slide () running on the said rail () and comprising two casings () for the semi-finished shafts () and for the finished shafts (), respectively, as well as a mechanical arm adapted to convey the finished and semi-finished shafts () from some support means () to the above-mentioned slide ().</p> |
