Disclosed is a shock-absorbing apparatus for a vehicle, comprising: a first coil provided on the inner side of a bumper of a vehicle; a second coil provided around a vehicle body to face the first coil; and a control part which is electrically connected to the first and second coils and applies a voltage to the first and second coils to generate a repulsive force between the first and second coils when the voltage variations caused by the movement of the first coil in a collision of the vehicle are detected.
