<p>A downlight support to enable installation of a downlight luminaire within a fixture is provided. The support includes has a tubular band. The tubular band has a first section, having a first diameter, and a second section, having a second diameter. The first diameter and the second diameter are arrayed about a longitudinal axis. A plurality of leaf springs is positioned on the second diameter. Each leaf spring in the plurality of leaf springs extends parallel to the longitudinal axis. A plurality of pairs of tension spring receptors is arrayed about the first diameter. Each pair of tension spring receptors extends inwardly toward the longitudinal axis.</p> |
