The specification relates to a method and a device for controlling a washer. The method for controlling a washer according to an embodiment of the specification comprises the steps of: correlating and storing nation identification information and limit value information corresponding to the nation identification information; obtaining a limit value corresponding to selected nation identification information when a selection for a piece of nation identification information is received; and performing any one or more of a washing process and a rinsing process by using the obtained limit value. According to an embodiment of the specification, water usage amount and electricity consumption may be easily controlled according to environmental regulations in each nation. |
